20ねんごのわたし

今、コロンビア大学でコンピュータサイエンスをべんきょうします。20後、コンピュータサイエンスのしごとをしたいです。会社員です。わたしはりょこうがすきです。りょこうはとてもたかいですから、おかねがたくさなりたいです。ニューヨークにいます。20年後とてもが二人ほしいです。わたしは毎朝あさごはんをつくります。それはら、ちかてつでが会社へ行きます。うちへかえります。かじをします。それから、ねます。とてもたいくつですが、シンプルです。シンプルなせいかつがすきです。

私はなんのゲームいちばん好きですか？

五月にオーバーウォッチをかいます。とてもすきです。オーバーウォッチのグラはとてもきれいですよ。そして、ゲームプレイはたのしです。わたしは　まいしゅうすえ　オーバーウォッチをしますから、あまりねません。じょうようへきですか？

きのうはじゅうがつじゅうよっかです。きにょびです。わたしはくじにおきました。それからおひとりでおよぼしました。じゅういちじにじどうしゃではちとおりへいきました。いちじにうちへきました。それはらうちでじょうほうこうがくをべんきょうしました。よじからしちじまでともだちとうちであそびごとをしました。それからかぞくとうちでばんごはんをたべました。じゅうにじにねました。

Introduction

Hi, my name is Tiffany Lee. I decided I wanted to learn Japanese, because Japan has always been a country that fascinated me with it's language and culture. So, since I still had at least two years left in Columbia, I decided to enter First Year Japanese as a Junior. It's a bit late and I regret not being able to go beyond Second Year Japanese, but I'm hopeful that this would set the foundation for me in the future and I can learn the language by myself. I hope one day to be able to visit Japan for the first time in the near future.

Currently, the pace has been the biggest challenge for me. Only four weeks in, we are already on lesson 5 and we haven't slowed done whatsoever. The vocabulary doesn't stop and I find myself struggling to keep up with the pace on top of other school work that I have. But still, I found myself having learned a lot and that I can actually understand one or two lines in conversations by native speakers. Also, I can read hiragana now and I'm so excited to finish katakana.

I look forward to the rest of this semester for this class, honestly.
